DPS ERP ("we", "us", "our") built the DPSerp web application and mobile application to help schools and colleges manage academic, administrative and communication tasks. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, with whom we share it, and the choices available to our users.

Financial & Payment Data

• Billing, fee payment history, invoices — when you use our payment features. We do not store full payment card numbers; payment processing is handled by third-party payment processors described below.

Device, Usage & Analytics Data

• IP address, device type, operating system, app version, crash logs and usage metrics to help us improve performance and reliability.

2. Mobile App (Enlighten)

The Enlighten mobile application provides additional features tailored for students, teachers, and Admin, including:

• Viewing attendance, assignments, fee reminders, and announcements.
• Access to exam schedules, results, and assignments.
• Secure login with institution credentials and role-based access.
• Online fee collection, No sensitive card details are stored on our servers.
• Transaction records are encrypted and used only for reconciliation and reporting purposes.
• Parents and students can access their payment history within the system for transparency.

Enlighten may request access to device permissions such as storage (for file downloads), camera (for uploading profile pictures or assignments), and notifications (for updates). Users can manage these permissions via their device settings. We do not use mobile permissions for any purpose unrelated to providing the service.

3. How We Collect Information

• Directly from you when you create an account, update your profile, or use features in the web or mobile app.
• From authorized school or college administrators who provide bulk student or staff data when setting up the institution account.
• Automatically through cookies and analytics when you visit our website or use the mobile app.

4. How We Use Your Information

We use information for purposes such as:

• Providing the platform features (attendance, gradebooks, messaging, reports).
• Processing payments and sending invoices.
• Communicating (notifications, alerts, administrative messages).

We do not sell personal information. We may share data in the following situations:

• With your school or college: Administrators with appropriate permissions can access student/staff records and activity for their institution.
• Service providers: Third-party vendors who perform services on our behalf (payment processors, cloud hosting, analytics). These providers are contractually restricted from using data for other purposes.
• Legal requests: When required by law, regulation, or to respond to lawful requests from public authorities.
• Business transfers: If DPSerp is acquired or merges with another company, data may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify affected users where required by law.
